Series production with us
The first batch is only the beginning. This is what our cooperation looks like in years 2–10 – our longest customer relationship has lasted over 20 years.
A manufacturer's value only shows over the years
A quote comparison shows the unit price. Over the years, other things decide: whether the delivery arrives on the promised day, who notices a component going obsolete in time, how a revision change is taken into production and what happens when something goes wrong. This is how we handle them.
Framework agreement, forecasts and call-off orders
We agree on the annual volume, batch size and price. You order batches as needed, and the lead time is about a week when the materials are in stock.
When you give us a 6–12 month forecast, we buy long-lead-time components in good time. Availability problems then show up at our end, not in your deliveries.
Buffer stock for urgent orders
We can keep an agreed quantity of components or finished boards in customer-specific stock. An urgent order then ships quickly instead of waiting for materials.
The size and cost of the stock are agreed in advance, so neither comes as a surprise.
Parts going obsolete are spotted in time
We monitor the availability of the components in your BOM as part of our purchasing, and distributors' product change and discontinuation notices (PCN/EOL) come to us directly. When a part is being discontinued, we let you know and propose a replacement part or a last-time buy.
Replacement parts are not used without your approval. Approved alternatives are recorded per product, so the next batch is not left waiting for a decision.
A predictable unit price
The price stays as agreed until there is a significant change in component prices, quantities or the product. We tell you about any change in advance and justify it with an itemised breakdown.
Our own building, paid-off machines and debt-free balance sheet mean that the price carries no rent increases, lease payments or interest costs.
Revisions and changes taken into production under control
When your product changes – a new PCB revision, a component change or a new test program – we update the placement programs, stencil, documentation and tests in a controlled way. The revision is recorded, so you know what is in each batch.
We also do electronics and PCB design in-house. We can suggest changes that make manufacturing easier or replace a part going obsolete.
The same quality in every batch, the same people year after year
The same ISO 13485 quality system applies to all orders. Every board gets a solder joint inspection, and nonconformities are reported with their root causes – for manufacturing defects, our target is within two weeks of the board arriving for analysis. If a defect is caused by manufacturing, we fix it at our own cost, shipping included. In 2025, our on-time delivery was 99.6%.
Your contacts do not change: Katri handles quotations, schedules and purchasing, Henri production. We ask for feedback with a regular customer satisfaction survey (2025: 4.5 / 5), and if you wish, we go through deliveries, quality and forecasts together once a year – at your premises, at ours or remotely.
“What if something happens to you?”
That is the right question to ask a small manufacturer. Here is our answer.
Equity ratio over 80% and our own factory building.
Work instructions, placement programs and test instructions are in the quality system, not in one person's memory.
The stencils, test jigs and programs you have paid for are yours, and they are handed over on request.
The factory is sized for many times today's volume.
All the way to the end of your product's life cycle
When your product is nearing the end of its life cycle, we agree together on the last batch, spare boards and archiving of the documentation.
Because we have no minimum order quantity, we can build service and spare boards in small batches for years after series production has ended.
