|---|---|
| Paste printing | PBT GO23Product-specific stencil |
| Reflow soldering | Koki ARC-250 and HeraeusProduct-specific thermal profile |
| Components | Passives, IC packages (including SOIC, QFP, QFN), BGA and connectorsHidden solder joints, such as under BGA and QFN components, are inspected by X-ray |
| Smallest component size | 0402 (1005 metric)Our placement machines also handle 0201 (0603 metric). It is agreed case by case, so mark it in the BOM. |
| Double-sided assembly | Yes |
| Soldering process | Lead-free (SAC305) or leaded (Sn62/Sn63)Chosen by product requirements: RoHS products lead-free, leaded only for products the restriction does not apply to |

| Wave soldering | Seho |
|---|---|
| Hand assembly and soldering | YesSpecial components, connectors and parts fitted after soldering |
| Mixed technology | SMT and THT on the same board |
Inspection
| Solder joint inspection | Every board under the microscopeStereo microscope and digital microscope |
|---|---|
| X-ray | FeinFocus FXS-100Hidden joints, for example under QFN components |
| Automated optical inspection (AOI) | No AOI machineInstead, every board is inspected under the microscope – well suited to series of hundreds and thousands of units |
| Acceptance criteria | IPC-A-610Solder joints are inspected to IPC-A-610 unless your own instructions require otherwise |
Programming and testing
| Programming | To the customer's instructions and software versionOne-off cost of about €300, if needed |
|---|---|
| Functional testing | With the customer's test equipment or a test jig designed together |

Honestly
When we are not the right choice
- We do not make PCBs ourselves. We order them from PCB manufacturers, and their fabrication time determines the schedule of the first batch.
- Consumer products in volumes of hundreds of thousands, where the only criterion is an Asian unit price, are better made in Asia.
We always assess special requirements, such as conformal coating, potting or exceptionally small components, case by case. Mention them in your request for quotation and we will tell you straight whether we can do it.
